HAGÅTÑA, GUAM - The Guam Chamber of Commerce has two planned events scheduled for the end of this week. The Chamber Business Women's Network (CBWN), a committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce, will host a professional development forum this Thursday, the 20th of September. The event, entitled "Female Breadwinners: You are Not Alone. He is Not the Enemy" will take place at The Gallery in the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Melanie Mendiola, Executive Director, UOG Endowment Foundation and Risha Aguon, Licensed Professional Counselor are the featured presenters. A fee of $25 will be assessed at the door for Chamber Members and $40 for Non-Chamber members.
In addition, the Chamber's Small Business and Development Committee is presenting "Tax Planning for Small Businesses" seminar with Guest Speaker Joe Arnett on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Unnai Room, The Westin Resort. Mr. Arnett is a Senior Advisor with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and is the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Guam Chamber of Commerce.
Doors open at 8:15 a.m. for registration. Admission is $20.00 for Chamber Members and $40.00 for Non-Chamber Members.
