First Hawaiian Bank 2015 Guam Economic Forecast Report

(Hagåtña, Guam, June 29, 2015) – "Guam's economy is in its fourth consecutive year of growth in 2015, thanks to promising developments in its main economic drivers -- tourism, federal spending (including military spending) and real estate," a new First Hawaiian Bank economic analysis says. The report on the economies of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) was prepared for the bank by Dr. Maria Claret M. Ruane, resident development economist at the University of Guam-Pacific Center for Economic Initiatives.

The Hilton Guam Holiday Train Returns

November 30, 2012

Christmas magic comes alive in the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa's main lobby, with the return of the hotel's Holiday Express Train. The train launch is scheduled for Thursday, November 29 at 6pm. The train will be on display through early January. As part of a longstanding tradition, the Hilton has always selected a local charity to benefit from the train sponsorship. This year, the hotel has selected Autism Community Together. ACT, a local non-profit organization, provides support for families that have children with Autism.
