HAGÅTÑA – The Guam Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Carabaos on Vacation Essay Contest.
Carabaos on Vacation is an island-wide campaign celebrating culture and color, introduced by the Guam Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee. Guam
businesses purchased albino fiberglass carabaos, painted and decorated them, and placed them at various locations around the island. Students in all grade levels were invited to
participate in the Carabaos on Vacation Essay Contest in 2008 for a chance to win cash prizes. Each essay featured the student’s favorite Carabao on Vacation.
